My Platform

Safety First

Every Council decision should start with one question: does this keep Erin residents safe? Emergency preparedness, safe roads, and infrastructure that protects families before problems happen, not after.

Responsible Planning & Economic Development

Growth is inevitable, but healthy growth takes intensive planning and constant monitoring. Roads, water, emergency services, the environment, and local businesses must be considered before decisions are made, not after problems arise — and growth should pay its own way.

Community Interaction & Representation

A Councillor's job is to listen, ask questions, do the research, and represent the people who elected them. Accessible, plain-language explanations, and residents' voices in every debate.

Fiscal Accountability & Foresight

Council decisions can affect Erin for decades. Residents deserve to know what's being decided, why, how it's funded, and what it costs long-term — including complete public accounting of major projects every year, so you can check the numbers yourself.

Transparency & Accessibility

Everyone deserves to understand what their Town is doing and why. I'll share information openly, communicate in plain language, and make sure Town services are accessible to every resident.

For Tracey Wallace, Erin has never simply been the place she lives.

It is the community that helped shape who she is.

Tracey has called Erin home, officially, since 1981. Her family's roots in the community stretch back even further, including her grandparents opening Holtom's Bakery in 1946. She attended Brisbane Public School and Erin District High School, she and her husband Doug raised their children here, and they're now watching their grandsons grow up in the same community.

Over the years, Tracey has experienced Erin from many different perspectives: as a resident, parent, grandparent, local business owner, employer, educator, event coordinator, community advocate and volunteer. She worked in nearly half of the businesses that occupied Erin's Main Street and has spent decades working alongside local businesses, schools, service organizations, families and community groups.

Professionally, Tracey owned and operated AAA Events from 1996 to 2025, and built her career around organization, problem solving, communication and bringing people together. Her background also includes Human Services Administration, education and tutoring, small business ownership with her daughter and community events and fundraising.

Those experiences have given Tracey a practical understanding of the challenges facing both residents and businesses as Erin grows.

Her priorities for Council center on Safety, Responsible Planning and Economic Development, Community Interaction and Representation, and Fiscal Accountability and Foresight.

Tracey believes growth is inevitable, but that healthy growth requires intensive planning and continuous monitoring. Roads, infrastructure, emergency preparedness, environmental protection, local businesses and the safety of residents need to be considered before decisions are made, not after problems arise.

She also believes strongly in accountability. Municipal decisions can affect a community for decades, often long after the Council that made them has changed. Tracey wants residents to be able to understand not only what decisions Council is making, but why they are being made, how they will be funded and what their long-term impact will be.

Most importantly, Tracey believes a Councillor's job is to listen, ask questions, do the research and represent the people who elected them.

“My history in Erin does not make me the right candidate. My continued love and commitment to Erin and it's residents, and my willingness to work for the best Erin possible, is why I am asking for your vote.”
